Fasting mosaic

One of the easiest recipes that you might find in the social media is the mosaic. An easy to make sweet based on 4 ingredients. This time I will present you its fasting version, a recipe that you can taste while visiting Greece in spring.

Preparation 10'

Waiting 1h

Serves 15=20

Ingredients

350 gr melted semi-sweet chocolate

120 gr tahin (puree of sesame)

1 tbsp of honey

2 tbsps of cocoa powder

400 gr of halva

Ideas for mixing flavours, add:

Mandarine zest or orange or lemon zest

Orange or lemon confit

Pears compote cut in small cubes

Little cubes of sweet bergamote or cherry

Dried fruits

Raisins

Pralin

Melted chocolate for frosting

Put the tahin cocoa and honey in a bowl

Pour the melted chocolate onto the tahin, cocoa and honey mix. Mix weel with a spatula.

Add the halva and one by one add the rest of the ingredients that you like.

More likely in Greece this sweet mixture is poured into a cake form fully covered with cling film and is put in the fridge for an hour to totally cool.

But I like original ideas. So I decided to take my silicon forms for mini cupcakes or for financiers, I filled them with the mixture and put them on the fridge. Then I spread powder sugar or frosted them with melted chocolate and spread at the end grilled almonds filés.
