Lemon Sorbet

Nothing more delightful than a lemon sorbet . This is an easy recipe. All you need is an ice cream maker in order to get a smooth and beautiful texture for a more professional result.

For 1 liter of sorbet

Preparation 40 '(time to prepare in the ice cream maker included)

Wait for 4 hours (or ideally overnight)

Ingredients

320 ml water

50g honey

250g caster sugar

230 ml lemon juice

Zest of two lemons

1 egg white about 30 g

In a small saucepan put all the ingredients except the lemon juice and the egg white. Mix with a spatula and cook for about 3 minutes. In a bowl, beat the egg white with the juice. Add the mixture to the egg and beat with the mixer in order to incorporate all the ingredients well.

Allow the mixture to cool and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Beat the mixture in the ice cream maker and ... ready. Place the sorbet in the freezer for at least 4 hours or for an entire night.

Serve with fresh mint leaves fresh mint and enjoy after any meal or a warm afternoon, whenever you like ...

Read very well any recipe.

 

Make sure that you are familiar with all ingredients mentioned in the recipes.

 

Always try a recipe twice. 

 

Don't be afraid to combine different flavours. Results are not always successful but you can learn.

 

Don't be afraid of great chef's recipes. There are sometimes difficult (not always) but with lots of practice the final result is achieved.
