Chocolate orange treats.

These little chocolates are ideal for treats in winter. Easily made within 10 minutes, you could prepare them a few days before or even at the last moment before your guests arrive!

Ingredients

100 g couverture chocolate (70%)

100 g full crème fraîche

Zest of 1 orange

Cocoa 100%

Boil the cream in a little pan.

Once it starts to boil, remove from the heat. Pour 1/3 onto the chocolate and leave the mixture for a few seconds to soften. This process will help the chocolate to react properly to the addition of liquid withoutdividing to its components.

Add another 1/3 and mix gently with circular movements from the bottom upwards.

Add the last 1/3 of the cream into the chocolate and mix one last time. The mixture will be sufficiently thick.

Finally add the orange zest and mix well until well -incorporated.

Leave the mixture in the fridge for about 20 minutes to harden a little.

Make little balls from the mixture and dip them in cocoa powder to cover them well.

Then the little chocolate treats are ready to serve

Keep them out of the fridge, for 3-4 days (always depending on the seasons and the temperatures in your premises).
