Inversed tart with fruits

Let’s make today a different tart. Not crunchy, but quite tasty combined with fruits, chocolate or creams.

It is not difficult to make. All you need is a special mold to bake it. In the picture below take a

look at the mold that you will need. I purchased it at a super market in France but you can definitely find it in many e-shops.

For 8 people

Preparation 10 '

Baking 30

Waiting 1 hour

Ingredients

4 large eggs

100g almond powder

100 g all -purpose flour

100g yoghurt

100 g of caster sugar

Zest of one lemon

100 g vegetable oil (eg corn oil). For this preparation, I have used special oil made of processed grape pips . It’s very good oil for baking and for pastry, without an intense aroma combined beautifully with the other ingredients.

2 tsp baking powder.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees

Beat the eggs with the sugar in the mixer until they turn pale yellow and double in volume. Add the yoghurt, the oil and the zest (one by one) without stopping the beating. Finally add the flour sifted with the baking powder and the almond powder and mix smoothly with a spatula.

In case you use a metallic form instead of a silicone mold, rub with butter and dust with flour. Otherwise, pour the mixture in the mold filling up about half of it or a little more.

Put it in the oven and bake for half an hour.

Then, remove it from the oven and wait for a while to cool. Invert the tart with care in a way that it will not to destroy its "walls" (Normally it should be easily inversed).

If you decorate with fresh fruit, you could make an easy whipped cream with mascarpone

cheese as follows:

200 gr mascarpone cheese

100 g liquid cream 35% fat

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tsp. agave syrup or 4 tsp. powdered sugar

Beat the mascarpone with agave syrup or sugar for a few seconds in the mixer. Add the cream and beat well in the mixer until it converts into a whipped cream. Finally add the vanilla and stir for a few seconds. The whipped cream is ready to use decorated with fruit.

In case you wish to combine fruits with pastry cream.

I would like to try it with chocolate as well… Soon.. How about you?
